What does regular garden maintenance include?
Visits cover the jobs that keep a garden in shape: grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding and tidying beds, edging and clearing up. We agree the list with you when we quote, so you only pay for the work your garden needs.
How often can you cut the grass and trim hedges?
As often as the garden needs. Tell us how frequently you want us to visit and we agree a pattern that suits the size of the lawn and the growth through the season. Hedges are normally trimmed less often than lawns are cut.
What counts as smaller tree work?
Smaller tree work means jobs such as lifting a crown, removing low or dead branches and taking out small trees. Large trees, anything close to power lines and trees under a preservation order are better handled by a specialist, and we will say so if your job falls into that group.
Do you look after commercial gardens and grounds?
Yes. We take on commercial garden and grounds maintenance as well as home gardens. Tell us about the site, how big it is and how often you need visits, and we quote for a regular schedule.
What kind of driveways do you build?
Block paved driveways are a core job for us, laid on a compacted sub-base with proper edging and falls so water drains away. If you are weighing up a different surface, describe the property and we will talk it through when we quote.
Can you build a pergola to my own design?
Yes. Our pergolas are bespoke, built from timber to suit the space and how you want to use it. Some are simple shaded seating areas, others cover an outdoor kitchen. Tell us what you have in mind and we work from there.
Do you lay patios and decking in the same project?
Often, yes. Building a patio, decking and any steps or retaining walls together means one set of groundworks and deliveries, and the levels line up. We plan the sequence with you so the heavy work is done before planting and turf.
How long will my landscaping job take?
It depends on the size of the area, the ground and the weather. A patio is usually a matter of days, while a full garden rebuild runs longer. We give you a realistic timescale with the quote and tell you early if the weather moves it.
Do you take away the waste?
Yes. Spoil, old paving, broken concrete and green waste go with us, and we leave the area tidy. Several of the customer comments on this page mention the tidy finish.
